  1. Begin by brewing the coffee. Place the coarsely ground coffee in a Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) or a drip coffee maker.
  2. If using a phin, add 4 ounces of hot water to the filter. Allow the coffee to drip slowly into a glass containing 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk. This process should take about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Once the coffee has fully dripped, stir well to combine the coffee with the sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the coffee mixture over the ice.
  5. Stir again to chill the coffee and enjoy your refreshing Vietnamese iced coffee!

Notes

For a stronger flavor, increase the amount of coffee. This drink can also be made with regular milk or non-dairy alternatives.
