  • 1 lb 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 packet 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup 1 cup water
  • 1 package 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 0.5 cup 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup 1/4 cup chopped cilantro Optional garnish
  • to taste Sour cream Optional garnish

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes (undrained), taco seasoning, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the taco meat sauce. Stir to combine.
  • Serve immediately, topped with shredded cheddar cheese, cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream (optional).

Notes

For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the taco meat sauce. You can also add other taco toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, or onions.
