  • 1 lb 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 packet 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup 1 cup water
  • 1 package 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 0.5 cup 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup 1/4 cup chopped cilantro Optional garnish
  • to taste Sour cream Optional garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes (undrained), taco seasoning, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the taco meat sauce. Stir to combine.
  5. Serve immediately, topped with shredded cheddar cheese, cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream (optional).

Notes

For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the taco meat sauce. You can also add other taco toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, or onions.
