  • 0.25 cup Light Brown Sugar Packed
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper

  • In a medium bowl, combine the cranberries, red onion, orange juice, lime juice, jalapeño, brown sugar, cilantro, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Gently stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more jalapeño for extra heat or more brown sugar for extra sweetness.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • For best flavor, let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for 2-24 hours before serving.
  • Before serving, give the salsa another gentle stir.
  • Serve chilled with tortilla chips, grilled chicken, fish tacos, or as a topping for pork tenderloin.

Notes

For a smoother salsa, you can pulse the ingredients briefly in a food processor before refrigerating. Consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra kick!
