  • 8 count Mini Hot Dogs
  • 1 package (8 ounces) Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
  • 2 tablespoons Yellow Mustard Optional, for mouths
  • 2 count Large Black Olives sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup Optional, for extra spooky effect

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  • Place a mini hot dog in the center of each crescent roll triangle.
  • Wrap the dough tightly around the hot dog, leaving the pointed end free, to resemble a mummy.
  • Place the wrapped hot dogs onto the prepared baking sheet. Use small slices of black olives for eyes. Add a small line of mustard for a mouth, or a tiny dot of ketchup for a bloody effect.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let the hot dog mummies cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, brush the crescent roll dough with melted butter before baking. You can also use different types of olives or even pretzel sticks for the eyes.
