Instructions

Instructions

  • Cut the cantaloupe and honeydew melons in half and remove the seeds. Scoop out balls of melon using a melon baller or small spoon.
  • Place the cantaloupe balls on a platter. Use a small knife or toothpick to create two small dots for eyes on each ball – these are your friendly ghosts!
  • Cut the orange into wedges. Carve simple pumpkin faces into the orange wedges using a small knife.
  • Arrange the blueberries, blackberries, and green grapes around the ghosts and pumpkins to create a spooky landscape.
  • Peel the kiwi and slice it into thin rounds or stars. Arrange them on the platter as desired.
  • Optional: Add chocolate chips to create extra details on the ghosts or pumpkins. A dollop of yogurt or whipped cream can also add a festive touch.
  • Serve and enjoy your spooky fruit platter!

Notes

For extra spookiness, use black food coloring to make the eyes of the ghosts more prominent. You can also add other seasonal fruits like sliced apples or pears.
