Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chorizo and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Add garlic and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat.
- Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. You can also substitute chicken or Italian sausage for the chorizo.
