- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Thaw puff pastry for about 10 minutes. Roll it out on a lightly floured surface to fit your tart pan.
- Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped rhubarb and sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Step 4: Pour the fruit mixture into the pastry-lined tart pan evenly.
- Step 5: Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.
- Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the fruit is tender.
- Step 7: Let it cool slightly on a cooling rack, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
