  • 2 cups Plain yogurt
  • 1 cup Cold water
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cardamom
  • Ice cubes Optional
  • a pinch Salt
  • Fresh mint leaves For garnish, optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a blender, combine 2 cups of plain yogurt and 1 cup of cold water.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
  3. Blend the mixture on high speed until it is smooth and frothy, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until the ice is crushed and incorporated.
  5. Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired, then blend briefly.
  6. Pour the lassi into tall glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves if using.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing drink!

Notes

You can experiment with different flavors by adding fruits like mango or strawberry for a twist on the classic lassi.
