  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter (2 sticks), softened
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth. Gradually beat in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra peanut butter flavor, use a combination of creamy and crunchy peanut butter. You can also add nuts, pretzels, or other mix-ins to customize these cookies. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
