- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the cubed French bread with the melted butter. Toss the bread gently to ensure each piece is coated evenly.

- Step 4: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Step 5: The next day, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 6: Remove the casserole from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
- Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
- Step 8: Serve warm with a generous drizzle of maple syrup over the top.
