  • 1 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon Dried culinary lavender
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1 shot Espresso or strong brewed coffee or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee
  • Whipped cream (optional) for topping
  • Fresh lavender sprigs (optional) for garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, bring the milk to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Once the milk is simmering, add the dried lavender and honey. Stir to combine.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture steep for about 10 minutes to infuse the lavender flavor.
  4. Strain the lavender-infused milk through a fine mesh sieve into a clean container to remove the lavender buds.
  5. Brew a shot of espresso or prepare 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee.
  6. In a large mug, combine the brewed espresso or coffee with the lavender-infused milk. Stir gently to mix.
  7. If desired, top with whipped cream and sprinkle a few lavender buds on top for garnish.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy the soothing floral flavors of your lavender latte.
