Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the pomegranate juice and sugar.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Once the sugar has dissolved, bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened slightly.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the lemon juice and orange flower water (if using).
  6. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, transfer the grenadine to a clean bottle or jar and store it in the refrigerator.
  8. Use as desired in cocktails, mocktails, or desserts.
