  • 1 inch Ginger (optional) Peeled and chopped, for spice

Equipment

Instructions
  1. Wash the celery thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.
  2. Chop the celery stalks into smaller pieces, about 2-3 inches long, to make blending easier.
  3. In a blender, add the chopped celery and the cold water.
  4. Blend on high speed until the celery is completely liquefied, usually around 30-60 seconds.
  5. Place a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth over a bowl or pitcher.
  6. Pour the celery juice mixture into the strainer, allowing the liquid to pass through while the pulp is retained.
  7. Use a spoon or spatula to press down on the pulp, extracting as much juice as possible.
  8. If desired, mix in a splash of lemon juice, or blend in apple slices or ginger for added flavor.
  9. Serve the juice immediately over ice, or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Notes

You can adjust the flavor by adding more or less lemon juice, apple, or ginger according to your preference.
