  • 2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1 pound Breakfast Sausage browned and drained
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley optional, for added flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, brown 1 pound of breakfast sausage. Drain off excess grease.
  • Add the cooked sausage to the bowl along with the Bisquick baking mix, milk, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and black pepper. Gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Using a cookie scoop or your hands, roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
  • Place the sausage balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each ball.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or Monterey Jack. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
