  • 1 14-ounce can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Milk chocolate chips Optional, for swirl
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  • Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, peanut butter, semi-sweet chocolate chips, butter, and salt.
  • Stir frequently until the butter and chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • If using, gently swirl in the milk chocolate chips.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Once firm, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. You can also add chopped nuts or pretzels for added texture.
