  • 1 14.5 ounce can Green Beans drained
  • 1 10.75 ounce can Cream of Mushroom Soup condensed
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1.5 cups French Fried Onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce optional, adds depth of flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder optional, enhances savory notes

  • Drain the green beans and set aside.
  • In your slow cooker, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce (if using), and garlic powder (if using).
  • Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, or until heated through and bubbly.
  • Stir in 1 cup of the French fried onions.
  • Continue to cook on low for 30 minutes, or until the onions are slightly softened.
  • Before serving, top with the remaining 1/2 cup of French fried onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add other vegetables like mushrooms or diced potatoes. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
