  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Chives Optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper To taste

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, milk, mayonnaise, chives (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the ranch mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring the chicken is mostly submerged.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds with a fork.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  6. Stir to combine the shredded chicken with the sauce.
  7. Serve the creamy ranch chicken over rice, pasta, potatoes, or in a tortilla wrap.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of garlic powder or onion powder to the ranch mixture. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
