  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Chives Optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper To taste

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, milk, mayonnaise, chives (if using), salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the ranch mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring the chicken is mostly submerged.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds with a fork.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  • Stir to combine the shredded chicken with the sauce.
  • Serve the creamy ranch chicken over rice, pasta, potatoes, or in a tortilla wrap.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of garlic powder or onion powder to the ranch mixture. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
