- Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low.
- Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. You can also add a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce for a warm, aromatic touch. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
