- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place bacon slices on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy.
- Remove bacon from oven and let cool slightly. Once cool, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced cucumbers, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, white vinegar, sugar, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the creamy dressing over the cucumber mixture.
- Gently toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dressing. You can also substitute different types of cheese, such as Monterey Jack or Colby Jack.
