  • 4 cups Thinly sliced cucumbers (about 3 medium)
  • 1/2 cup Cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons White vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place bacon slices on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy.
  • Remove bacon from oven and let cool slightly. Once cool, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced cucumbers, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, white vinegar, sugar, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the creamy dressing over the cucumber mixture.
  • Gently toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dressing. You can also substitute different types of cheese, such as Monterey Jack or Colby Jack.
