  • 3 whole Ripe avocados Choose ripe avocados for the best flavor.
  • 1 medium Lime juice Juiced.
  • 1 small Red onion Finely chopped.
  • 2 medium Roma tomatoes Diced.
  • 1-2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 whole Jalapeño Seeded and minced, optional.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro Chopped.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Start by cutting the avocados in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired level of creaminess (smooth or chunky).
  3. Squeeze the lime juice over the mashed avocados to prevent browning and add a fresh flavor.
  4. Add the finely chopped red onion, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, and minced jalapeño (if using) to the bowl.
  5. Gently fold in the fresh cilantro.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
  7. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or use as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads.

Notes

For a twist, try adding diced mango or pineapple for a fruity variation.
