  • 1 pint Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Balls (Bocconcini) Small size
  • 10 Fresh Basil Leaves Large leaves can be halved
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper or to taste
  • 8-10 Wooden Skewers Soak in water for 30 minutes before use

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball, and one basil leaf onto each skewer. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic glaze and olive oil.
  • Arrange the Caprese skewers on a serving platter.
  • Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil mixture evenly over the skewers.
  • Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Serve immediately or chill for later. Enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use high-quality balsamic vinegar. You can also add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat. These skewers are best served fresh, but can be refrigerated for up to 4 hours before serving.
