  • 1 pint Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Balls (Bocconcini) Small size
  • 10 Fresh Basil Leaves Large leaves can be halved
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper or to taste
  • 8-10 Wooden Skewers Soak in water for 30 minutes before use

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball, and one basil leaf onto each skewer. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic glaze and olive oil.
  4. Arrange the Caprese skewers on a serving platter.
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil mixture evenly over the skewers.
  6. Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  7. Serve immediately or chill for later. Enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use high-quality balsamic vinegar. You can also add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat. These skewers are best served fresh, but can be refrigerated for up to 4 hours before serving.
