  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 /4 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground is best
  • 1 can (5.8 ounces) Sliced Green Beans Drained
  • 1.5 cups French Fried Onions
  • 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce Optional, for a savory depth
  • 1 /2 teaspoon Garlic Powder Optional, enhances the savory taste

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, soy sauce (if using), and garlic powder (if using). Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the drained green beans to the soup mixture and stir gently to coat evenly.
  • Pour the green bean mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Top with 1 1/2 cups of French fried onions.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and the onions are golden brown and crispy. If the onions start browning too quickly, tent loosely with foil.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add a sprinkle of paprika or a dash of Worcestershire sauce for extra depth of flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
