- Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add peanut butter and softened unsalted butter. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Step 2: Gradually add powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs to the mixture. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
- Step 3: Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking pan.
- Step 4: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and cocoa powder. Heat in the microwave until melted and smooth.
- Step 5: Stir in vegetable oil until well blended.
- Step 6: Pour melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Step 7: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
- Step 8: Once set, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Stored in an airtight container, Buckeye Bars can last up to a week in the refrigerator. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
