  • 1 medium Honeycrisp or Fuji Apple cored and diced
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Celery Seed
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, drained cranberry sauce, and diced apple. Gently toss to combine.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, and celery seed.
  3. Season the dressing generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Adjust seasonings as needed.
  4. Pour the dressing over the coleslaw mixture.
  5. Toss gently to ensure the coleslaw is evenly coated with the dressing. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. For best results, chill for 1-2 hours.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For a sweeter coleslaw, add 1-2 tablespoons more sugar. You can also add toasted pecans or walnuts for added crunch. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
