Honey Garlic Steak Bites: A Culinary Delight

Tender steak bites bathed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Perfect as an appetizer or a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Green onions (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, cornstarch, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
2. Add the steak cubes to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness (about 5-7 minutes).
4. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions (if desired).

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak overnight.
Adjust the amount of honey and garlic to your liking.
You can use any cut of steak you prefer, but sirloin, flank, or ribeye work well.
Serve with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
