Sour Cream Apple Pie
This delicious sour cream apple pie is made with a sour cream based custard, topped with sliced apples and a crumb topping.
For the Apple Filling
- 2-3 Granny Smith apples peeled, sliced 1/4″ thick
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg beaten
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 Pillsbury® pie crust
For the Topping
- ⅔ cup all purpose flour
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the Apple Filling
In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients except apples
