Apple Loaf Cake with Pecans
This apple loaf cake is super moist and delicious with all the classic flavors of fall. Chopped pecans and molasses cinnamon frosting is added for even more deliciousness.
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 cup butter softened
- 2 cups dark brown sugar
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups unsweetened apple sauce
- ½ cup chopped pecans
For the Molasses Cinnamon Frosting
- 4 oz cream cheese
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 1 Tbsp molasses
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
For the Apple Pecan Loaf Cake
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and allspice.
